International cooperation
Kazakh University of Railway Transport (KUPS) in the training of highly qualified specialists and scientific work has international connections with more than 20 universities and organizations from near and far abroad.
In the framework of inter-university agreements FWMFs cooperates with universities in Germany, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries. Agreement on creative collaboration on training of scientific personnel and are enclosed with the Moscow University of Railway Engineering (MIIT), St. Petersburg University of Railway Transport (LIIZHT), Siberian State University of Railway Transport (SGUPS), Siberian State Automobile and Highway Academy (SibADI), Rostov State University of Railway Transport (RGUPS), Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers (TashIIT) Kirghiz state University of Construction, Transportation and Architecture (KSUCTA), Moscow State technical University. In recent years the university has signed a document of understanding and cooperation in science and education:
- Memorandum from the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Vildan (Germany).
- Agreement with Fatih University (Turkey).
The University has a close cooperation of international organizations to implement educational programs USAID (Agency for Higher Education United States), DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), CHE (Center for Higher Education Development, Germany), educational networks EdNet, the Corporation CARANA.
Kazakh University of Communications is the official partner for the implementation of international projects of the Central Railway transport Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) and Intelligent Transport Systems (SSP Consult), injected at the site highway Astana Shchuchinsk. At present the results of these projects are implemented in the educational process in the form of international educational programs.
In connection with obtaining a license for educational activity on the four specializations of doctoral particular relevance was the question of inviting leading scientists and specialists from foreign universities to lecture and conduct collaborative research. At the beginning of the school year in a schedule of visits of foreign professors to give lectures and conduct scientific advice doctoral students. Department of International Cooperation made a gradual engagement with international organizations and foundations: ACCELS, IREX, the Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan, CARANA, EdNet and other University teachers involved in online programs «Basic Internet Shills» on the basis of the International Agency on Research and Exchanges Board IREX «Expansion of Internet Access and Training (IATP)», administered by the International research and Exchanges Board (IREX).
